How do we choose a location?

I have plenty of location options that I am well acquainted with and can recommend. I am always scouting out new ones, and I am happy to use any location suggestions you have as well. Your location sets the tone for your session, so choosing a fitting location is one of the most important steps to begin creating your vision. That being said, I LOVE a good field, and you can usually find me there!

What should I wear for my session?

Whatever makes you feel like the most confident YOU. Your style is unique to you, and I am all about showing that kind of authenticity in your photos. That being said, if you would like some guidance, I supply a style guide upon booking to help you choose a color palette and a variety of styles for each person being photographed for your session. Neutrals such as whites, creams, tans, browns, mustards and sage ALWAYS photograph beautifully- and I HIGHLY recommend building a color scheme around these choices!

How do I secure my session date?

Please note that session dates are NOT booked and added to the calendar until a retainer AND signed contract are in place. Dates discussed are not a guarantee until both of these steps are complete. I urge you to please complete the booking process as quickly as possible. I offer ALL available dates for booking to all new inquiries. Booking is first come, first serve. Weekends are most in demand, so if that is your only availability please reach out ASAP!

Do you offer cash discounts?

Yes! Cash is always appreciated! If you would like to pay in cash on the day of your session, you can take $50 off the package price!

Do you offer mini sessions?

Yes! I will always hold holiday mini sessions each year- and these book QUICKLY, so don't sleep on them! In addition to that, if you don't see a package on my pricing guide that is in budget- ask me about an add on mini. These are mini session dates I offer for locations I am already shooting at throughout the year at a lower price point! I am happy to offer these, so please don't be shy about reaching out if a full length package doesn't fit your needs!

When can I expect my gallery?

Final galleries will be delivered within 2 weeks. (Although this is a conservative estimate! I will always get your photos to you ASAP!) Wedding turn around times range from 8-12 weeks from the event.

What if it rains?

No big deal! Happens all the time! We simply reschedule for the next available dates that matches up for both of our schedules! I typically add rain dates to my calendar each month for this reason.

Do I have to order prints through you?

No, you are never obligated to order prints, canvas or photo products through me. However, they are available for all sessions, and can be purchased after viewing your online gallery. Prints are highly encouraged for wedding + elopement collections, and all photos will be printed using a professional lab to ensure the highest quality. Printing from a professional lab is the only way to guarantee that the tones will remain true to color and to preserve as much detail as possible.

Do you shoot elopements and destination weddings?

UM, ABSOLUTELY. Travel + adventure is welcomed! I would love nothing more than to accompany you on this journey to create a one of a kind vision for your special day. Your elopement should embody who you are as a couple, and your photos should exude the poetry of your love and the emotional story of your lives intertwining themselves together.

Will there be a second shooter for my wedding?

A second shooter is included in my 6 and 8 hour wedding investment packages. A second shooter is not included in base pricing for elopements, but can be added to any custom elopement package for an additional $50/hour + travel. The benefit to hiring a second shooter cannot be overstated to ensure that you capture multiple angles and simultaneous events during your wedding.
